GRACE Cares Receives Grant!

We are pleased to announce that GRACE Cares has been awarded a $2,500 grant for the Project Hearts Community Health Leadership Project in the Dominican Republic.

The funding from For A Better Tomorrow will enable the Community Health Leadership Project to train 24 women as community health leaders. Through ten interactive workshops, participants will learn about reproductive health, disease prevention, gender equity, and leadership. Each participant will educate at least ten households, expanding the initiative's impact to approximately 240 households. The funding will be used for participant transportation stipends, educational materials, hygiene kits, nutritious snacks, and a graduation ceremony and promotional video production.
